Inside the collection
Chapter I:
Reverie.
Proportion, material, presence.
A closer look at Sara Charif’s ready-to-wear.

The designer’s perspective
It begins
with proportion.
Sara’s background in applied mathematics informs her approach to pattern logic, measurements and garment development. Her early exposure to fabric sourcing through her grandmother’s clothing store shaped an equally close attention to materials and finish.
Those two interests meet in her work: the structure of a silhouette and the way a fabric gives it expression.
