WHO IS SARA CHARIF
Sara Charif is a Dubai-based fashion designer and founder of Sara Charif Designs. Born and raised in Dubai, she later moved to the United States to study Applied Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley, before returning to Dubai to build her brand.
PRECISION BY DESIGN
Her design process is rooted in technical precision. Her background in applied mathematics informs her approach to design, particularly in pattern logic, measurements, and technical garment development, where precision is essential.
Each garment begins with a clearly defined concept and is refined through disciplined development and execution. Sara’s sensitivity to materials and construction was shaped early through her grandmother’s clothing store, where she was exposed to fabric sourcing, quality control, and finishing standards from a young age.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Sara Charif Designs is created for women who value considered craftsmanship and long-term relevance. With a focus on proportion and figure-complementing silhouettes, each piece is designed as part of a cohesive visual language rather than a standalone statement. Lace plays a central role in her work, used with restraint to achieve elegance that feels timeless rather than decorative. Sara designs from a specific woman’s point of view, guided by the belief that the strongest fashion brands speak clearly to a defined niche.

Alongside fashion, Sara is a trained competitive equestrienne.
